Surreal illustrations paired with custom lettering filled with “watchful eyes” — a nod to the constant gaze of the TV audience. Spanish-tinted colours meet Greek vernacular cues to mirror the protagonist’s self-exile and inner chaos.

Meadows Studio is a recording studio and creative hub located within the industrial landscape of Piraeus, a space shaped as much by its community as by its physical surroundings.

assignment

The identity was developed by immersing in the raw, metallic environment of the neighborhood, translating its grit and materiality into a contemporary visual language. At the core of the system sits a bespoke sans-serif logotype inspired by the feel of cut metal — sharp, precise, and tactile — echoing the industrial character of the studio.

project analysis

Set against clean white surfaces and metallic textures, the logo creates a deliberate contrast between roughness and intimacy. Its bold, open letterforms ensure maximum clarity and presence across physical and digital applications. To extend the system, negative space was used as a constructive element, forming a series of contemporary symbols integrated directly within the typographic structure. These graphic gestures balance creativity with function, allowing the identity to remain flexible while staying rooted in its architectural and cultural context. The result is a visual language that reflects Meadows not only as a recording space, but as a living creative environment. Industrial in spirit, human in experience.
